South Tyneside Council has recently updated their Local Development Scheme which provides information on:
- the development plan documents they expect to prepare between 2023 and 2026
- what these documents will be about and the geographical area they will cover
- the timetable for key consultations and adoption of those documents
Importantly, the document includes an estimated timetable for the delivery of the next version of the council’s Local Plan which will set out their development proposals for the forthcoming years.
